Brought my family in for some authentic Italian. We tried the owners favorites Orecchiette Pasta and Rigatoni, which I'm still dreaming about! And to finish it off the peach cobbler, OMG! It was soooo good! Chefs kiss!
Great food and service. We've eaten there several times now and will add this restaurant as one of our favorites and a place we will gladly take out-of-town visitors.
Food is 10/10!!!! Though $11 for a tiny dessert was a bit steep. Only taking away a star because the restaurant is small so it gets very loud and it was hard to have a conversation. Food was amazing and would definitely come back. I recommend the ravioli!! The papa sauce is very good also.
Everything was amazing, from the food to the service. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a lively gathering with friends, Il Posto is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
What a fantastic hidden gem! My wife and I stumbled across I Posto in a shopping center next the the UPS store. We had the melon and prosciutto appetizer with arugula and balsamic.... So good! We then ordered the I Posto pizza that had fresh crumbled bacon, sausage and pepperoni...omg we were shocked how good it was . Btw, the interior is very comfortable and welcoming with an open kitchen and nice cozy bar. We met Eric one of the owners who was so nice as was Andy and the rest of the staff. We will definitely be back
Loved this place! My friend and I went before a wedding pre-party to fill up on apps and wine. We had such a good time. The wine was great! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was delightful. We ordered bruschetta and arancini. I ordered a side of broccolini that had maybe a light butter sauce and my friend ordered a peach salad that she loved. Everything was great. The bruschetta was very toasted and it didn't hurt my mouth but it hurt my friends'.
Yummy, Yummy, Yummy‼ Love the decor of the restaurant. Excellent service. Will definitely visit again on our next trip to Napa Valley.
I love going to dine in (great bar and wine selections) or grab take-out from the great folk at Il Posto. But today, I wasn't even there and they were of great service. My Dad texted that he and my Mom were going there for an early dinner, 2pm....they're older ;-) , to celebrate their 59th wedding anniversary. I called over and spoke to Alan who said he'd make them feel special and he coordinated with me to purchase a nice bottle of wine for them. Dad said they had a great lunch! This was another example of a great local restaurant taking care of local diners. Yes, sharing the love of food with out-of-towners is important. But, taking care of folks you've known for decades is the bedrock of a good Valley business. Justin, you've got a great crew over there!
Didn't like that we had to sit outside, helped there was a heater. Had reservations but we changed it to earlier so i could understand if that's all that was available. Hubby was not happy. However, his mood quickly changed after they brought out the fried olives I ordered. He was blown away by the fried olives, stuffed with sausage. I've had it before at Scala Osteria, minus the sausage. I liked the polenta more. Andy was great, very friendly, passionately agreed with all the yummy items we ordered. Quite a few servers asked us how we were doing throughout the course of our dinner which was great but my fault for not asking about the bread they never brought out. Would've been great to dip in the creamy pesto from the gnocchi. We ordered dessert to go. Tiramisu and Panna cotta. Would definitely be back! Very accessible, easy onsite parking unlike dwtn. They share the lot with a General store.
I do appreciate the level of service provided. I called in to ask if they can accommodate some changes to their pasta dishes to make it a vegetarian friendly dish and was told "You can change anything and choose to sub in any sauces or vegetables available on the menu." They did a fab job accommodating without charging one cent more, because they understood I am not eating the meat that comes with the dish. I really appreciate the hospitality. The food was fabulous!
